Aww. Our First Questionable Wound.
Today I received a call from Ethan's preschool. The nurse told me that all of a sudden Ethan stood up, turned around, and blood was running down the back of his head. Sure enough, he split his head open. The wound was only 1 cm long, but it was gaping, and she wasn't certain if it needed a stitch.
Fortunately, this happened during work hours (unusual for our family). Unsure whether this required stitch(es), Greg stopped by the pediatrician's office on the way home so the doc could have a quick gander at it. Although the nurse thought it needed a staple, the doc thought he'd be okay with some peroxide and some Neosporin. So that's what we did.
Due to his injury, Ethan has enjoyed 3 sticks of string cheese this evening. Three. Now that's love.
