To Ze Zoo.

Last Friday I started feeling guilty about not doing all the stuff I thought I'd do with the kids at the beginning of the summer.  Summer as we know it ends on Tuesday, so I whisked the kids off to the zoo.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous.  It was sunny and probably 75 degrees while we were there.  Simply beautiful.  The animals were lively, the kids were in good moods, everything was fabulous.  It was one of those days that makes parenting so great.

Ethan actually rode in his stroller almost the entire time -- until the end, anyway, when he got restless.  But we'd been through almost the entire zoo by that time, and he was still well-behaved when he got out.  And Laurel?  She PUSHED that stroller with her brother in it almost the whole way through.

I got lots of photos of the day.  I'm just going to toss my very favorites up here (I especially like the individual ones of the kids and the one where Laurel has managed to worm her way between two zookeepers).
