Top story: Vinnie's diet is effective. He has lost 4 pounds, bringing him to a fighting 66.4 pounds of muscle-bound brownness. Only 7 more pounds to go! Go Vinnie!

In other news, Laurel has chosen to play violin in strings next year. Her parents report they are grateful that she chose the instrument with the least expensive rental costs, seeing as how they are cheapskates. Laurel will also be trying her hand -- er, feet -- at soccer in the fall.

Car dealers beware! Michelle is on the warpath and is rejecting salesmen out of hand for such offenses as typing WITH THE CAPSLOCK KEY ON IN E-MAIL CORRESPONDENCE. Do not make this mistake. She considers this an egregious error and reflective upon the dealership as a whole. Unlike her husband, she is not concerned about hurting your feelings, and in fact was recently diagnosed as 'borderline abrasive' by her husband in dealing with car salesmen. Or maybe it wasn't just in dealing with car salesmen. Maybe he was referring to her attitude on the whole lately.

Sophomores, take heed! If you waltz into class after the tardy bell rings AND apply makeup when you should be doing your assigned work AND try to be sneaky with your cellphone/iPod after being told it would not be tolerated AND tell Michelle that you 'hate this m_____ f_______ school' AND tell Michelle that she is not your mother when she tells you to sit in your seat and do your work....
....you WILL receive a behavior referral. While Michelle is tolerant of many behaviors individually, she is not tolerant of them in concert.
