How awesome is that?  Many, if not most of the adults I know couldn't spell every word on that list.  Last week they worked on homophones.  Laurel was a little cocky about studying and discovered what happens when one doesn't work as hard as one should to know one's material (yes, I'm giving you the virtual 'look,' Laurel).  It was a good lesson, learned the hard way.  So last night we worked on this week's words.  I just hope she remembers the 'u' in dubiously today when she takes her test.

This is a phenomenal list which I am sure she studied with exuberance and was unperturbed by the difficulty. Hopefully, she will not be lynched if she misses one.
