Last night, Greg and I were watching the news when it was announced that...
...East St. Louis had just experienced its 12th murder of the year.
Twelve? Really? That's it?
I sort of expected more from our neighbors to the east. After all, everyone always talks about how skeery East St. Louis is.
Just for giggles, I looked up how many murders we'd had in St. Louis (the west side) this year.
Well, in August alone, we had 12.
Go figure.
